Onboarding Checklist

Request Contracting

Submit your contracting request to get appointed with Medicare carriers.

Complete AHIP Certification

Required annual certification to sell Medicare Advantage plans. Must be completed every year.

Carrier Training & RTS Status

Log into each carrier's portal via CMS to complete training and achieve Ready-to-Sell (RTS) status. You must complete carrier certifications after you are appointed.

⚠️ Certifications must be completed after you receive your carrier appointment — not before.

SunFire Auto-Enrollment (RTS)

Once your RTS email arrives after completing carrier certs, SunFire will automatically enroll you. You will receive a confirmation email from SunFire — no action needed.

📧 Watch for the SunFire enrollment notice in your email after each carrier confirms RTS.
